Starting January 1st we will be offering marijuana growing kits to our patients.
You never know enough about growing weed. People have been growing cannabis for thousands of years. But, that’s probably part of the problem – too many experts!
Fortunately, the cannabis world is dynamic. New strains are bred and grown. Old strains fall out of favor. New fertilizers and technologies come along. And, regulations rear their head.
That also means there are new rules for growing indoors, outdoors, or hydroponic systems, each with their own needs.
Remembering that most of the history has been on a black market, you can’t be surprised no one discloses their secrets.
So, let’s try to consider it all.Texture, drainage, and water retention are important, but any commercial soil will claim these qualities. Cannabis needs water and oxygen from the soil.  Too much water, and the roots don’t grow. Not enough, and the leaves dry out. So, you need soil that retains just enough water and not too much.
Preferred soils are dark, rich, and loose. It has no wood, stones, or debris. And, it does not turn to mud when watered. You can mix in vermiculite, perlite, worm castings, and compost to build a healthy soil.

Every location of Medical Cannabis Community Outreach will provide patients with the medical marijuana card.
So What Is an MMJ Card?
You use an MMJ card to provide identification when buying medical marijuana. This helps the state to regulate use and access to medical marijuana (or MMJ).
Your medical cannabis card features a picture of you to help the dispensary confirm your identity. It also has an issue and expiry dates. These mean that people can’t pass on old MMJ cards to people who don’t need them.
To help identify you further, Missouri MMJ cards also feature your address and date of birth.
When you receive an MMJ card, you get an ID number. If you’re a caregiver or have a caregiver, you also get a caregiver ID.
But don’t worry, your MMJ card won’t list any of your personal medical details. The only time you have to disclose these is why you apply for your card. If anyone at a dispensary asks what you’re using medical weed for you don’t have to tell them.

The importance of focus and attention in sports is a no-brainer. Some sports stars take pre-workout supplements containing high amounts of caffeine to improve focus. CBD could also help to enhance focus by reducing stress and anxiety.

Anxiety causes difficulties for all those affected but is especially detrimental to athletes. Anxiety can have a negative impact on decision-making skills, attention, and self-confidence, all of which are important for optimal athletic performance.

Athletes could experience anxiety due to fear of performing poorly, the pressure to perform well, fear of injury, and career uncertainty, among other things. Fortunately, CBD is known for its anti-anxiety properties. We carry CBD infused products in all of our clinics. Call us today or simply stop by.
